Hyatt Kota Kinabalu = Double Standard


As I mentioned before, I did not go to bazaar Ramadhan. As a good wife and mother (yea…yea..u can vomit after read this statement…hahahahhahaa), my husband bring me and my son to Hyatt last Sunday… well the food so-so compare to Le Meridien. But as my husband ‘Member’ of Hyatt…so we support Hyatt la kan…

And yesterday I went to Hyatt again. This time with my son and my ‘adik angkat’ Ija. We are the first customer. After we seated <-- my husband booked earlier (last Sunday we were seat at the same place and same table and chair too) I asked the staff either they can shift us to other table….



Me : Sori adik, bolehkah kasih pindah kami di meja lain. Hari Ahad lepas pun kakak duduk di sini juga ( Sorry Bro, can you please shift us to other table. Last Sunday we sit same place)



The staff : Ok, nanti saya periksa dulu ..(Ok, I’ll check for you) A few minuter later..
The staff : Ok kak, kakak boleh duduk di sana…. (Ok sis, you can sit there)



Me : Oh ok, terima kasih ( oh ok, thank you) When we sit, I can hear someone said with a loud voice…



The other staff : kenapa ko suruh duduk disana…bukan di sana…. ( Why you asked them to sit there…not there…



The staff come to us. And not the other staff with the loud voice



The staff : Sori kak, boleh kah pindah di tempat lain lagi… di sana ka ( Sorry sis, can you shift to other table…over there…)



Me : Kenapa ?? Kalau asyik pindah-pindah , bagus lagi kamu suruh kami duduk di dapur. (Why?? If you asked us to shift again, better you ask us to sit in the kitchen) <--- I'm really2 mad...



And……. You know what the staff said to me…

What the f***……… hello I’m the customer. I’m the one who pay the food. I stood up and ask him 'what's your name'....after I get his name ...... than I told my son and my 'adik angkat' ..."come we go to other hotel" <--tidak jugak mati kalau tidak makan di Hyatt kan....The other staff just look at us when we go out aka berambus from the hotel, I called my husband and told him what happen. So off we go to Le Meridien, KK...... see as customer we always have a choice, right

My son 'new favourite place'. You can see a lot of 'can' drinks...Macam2 ada...pilihlah sepuas2 hati.....sori gambar blur ....



About Le Meridien....wow...the food....a lot of choices.... but because this the first time I went there, I can see the service and the food....wayyyyyyyyy different from Hyatt. Not even 2 minutes we wait for to be seated (we go there without booking <-- kan I already merajuk sama Hyatt ), and we get the superb view. The staff so friendly and the food marvelous..mamma mia....<--- my husband promise to me and my son, he will bring us to this hotel to stay there...yes...... so Hyatt...bye2 (I'll story you abt Le Meridien food next time ok).... its worth with ur money, trust me (RM80 for adult and RM40, for children) ... I didn't take any pictures of the food because my husband bring my dslr camera with him <--my husband sungkai aka buka puasa with his staff.



Oh did I mention what happend when we went to Hyatt last sunday... oh belum kan... ok...why I say Hyatt KK = Double Standard...... If you just 'orang2 biasa', tiada pangkat, tiada nama, bukan 'Mat Salleh', bukan artis, bukan orang terkenal, tiada siapa kenal you siapa..... jangan harap the staff mau layan you bagus2 (yang bagus pun cuma 2, 3 orang saja, yang lain, tu muka macam kena tampar malaikat.... percayalah gua cakap. Lebih2 lagi kalau kamurang datang sana pakai selipar atau sandal buruk....Kadang2 tu piring sampai kamurang kasih double2, pun belum tentu lagi durang angkat piring kamurang tu. Tapi kalau orang yang ada pangkat.... lebih2 lagi kalau ada datuk ka, dateen ka, biarpun tu makanan ala buffet, kena kasih hidang durang teh tarik ka.... minuman lain ka...kalau durang sudah berhenti makan pun, ada tu staff balik2 datang pegi meja durang, tanya durang, kalau2 durang mau apa2 lagi......kalau kena urang kampung macam gua ni, mati hidup balik pun indak tu kena peduli... kadang2, 2 atau 3 kali kena panggil minta tambah air pun, belum lagi kena tambah tu, jadi pandai2 la kamurang pegi ambil minuman manis dulu. Bukan apa....ini supaya kita tidak mati kebangkalan/tercekik bah. Maklumlah, nyawa kita kan murah...maklumlah kitakan orang kampung <--- ini bukan sekali dua gua alami, hampir setiap kali gua pegi sana, terutama kalau ada orang berpangkat..nah, jangan la harap kena layan bagus2 tu..... jadi sila percaya.....Yang bikin heran tu, kita pun bayar bah kan. Bukannya kita datang sana secara percuma. Gua syak, gua bayar pakai duit kertas, orang berpangkat tu pakai duit emas barangkali kan..itu yang layanan tu pun lain2.

My son rupanya sudah juga cerita sama my husband abt the incident. And when my husband ask my son, where he likes to go...and my son said 'Le Meridien'.........yesssssssssssss..........



So HYATT KK.... you are losing your regular customer. And you want to know one important thing ... my husband told me that he won't extend his 'membership' next year..... see....like my husband told me just now via sms 'the damages has been done'.



p/s : jangan kamurang terkejut, gua ni sebenarnya jarang marah, nah..sekali marah trus speaking london.....jangan kamurang keteguran sudah la ah....hehehehehehe

Woi ging aku ingat aku salah masuk blog ko. Takajut sa espiking london hahahaha....Mimang sia tia suka Hyatt even dia punya makanan pun ituuu2x saja bah. Bikin panas juga ko punya cerita nie talampau lah juga bah durang tu...buli2 dia cakap "boleh juga" duduk di dapur. Kenapa ko tia jumpa trus dorang punya banquet manager kasih tau betapa kurang ajarnya staff dia menjawap cam tu!!

Memang tu Hyatt begitu, pilih orang. Nah koto siapa suruh kurang ajar, baru tahu hilang customer ha..ha...

Rosc my fren,

ya bah. Mmg makanan dia begitu2 saja kan, tapi kunun2 sia mau support la bah, skali durang buat begitu, nahhh...... sori naik lori la sia mau pegi sana lagi. Ko tau the other staff tu.... dia punya banquet manager la tu. Kebetulan kelmarin ada pengambaran RTM buat bah di sana. Masa tu urg ckp2 kan, sia limpas jak bah depan, trus sia dengar 'cut'...hahahahahhaa...indaksudah sia peduli..marah tul sia.

Sudah laki sia buat komplen sama drng, ada jgk drng ckp sori, tapi laki sia bilang damages has been done.....hahahahahaha...

ya bah dik. Lagipun kan, bukan baru2 saja kami pegi sana, husband kakak sudah jadi member 3 atau 4 tahun sudah. Jadi kira kami ni regular customer la bah kunun. Nah, sekali kena buat begitu...jawabnya 'Le Meredian' la....hehehehehee

Berbalik dengan cerita tadi, rasa-rasanya dimana-mana saja kita pergi pun ada juga double standard yang dipraktikkan oleh premis2sebegitu. Tapi tidaklah pula semua...

woh sis....kalau me yg kena mcm tu....teruk kaw2 me kasi kena, biar sampai resign..(except yg sana Mosaic di luar tu...ada ok sikit service dia - muka regular + mulut laser kan hihihi...)....

haven't tried le meridien yet, satu ari nanti sa pun mo cuba la sana ni~

kahkahkahkahkah... tu baru marah sikit tu dik, kalau mengamuk, mesti kakak ckp prancis tu...kahkahkahkah...
adik baru gerun tu kan, kalau cikgu Inggeris baca ni, silap hari bulam, indak mengaku kakak ni bekas anak murid dia, hehehehhe

Adik tau, panggil2 bah staff tu sama kakak, indak kakak pedul, kakak jalan trusss...

Betul adik ckp tu, skrg ni mana2 saja bah ada double standard kan, bukan semua la. Tapi klu drng nmpk urg luar negara jak dtg, walau kaki ayam, drng layan mcm tu urg bawa juta2....

Nah...berbunga2 sudah hati kakak ni <-- sila bercaya, gelang rambut pun gelang rambut la..yg penting ada bunyi gelang...hahahahahha

p/s : dik, macam mana adik tau kaka senyum2 tu ah..ishhh magik la adik ni....'wink2'...

Adikku Angel Bear,

kalau ikutkan hati mmg begitu la tu dik. Nasib baik kakak puasa, jadi sabar tu cuba di tahan, cuba kalau bukan bulan puasa, silap2 kena bagi makan dan tinggal di sana kali kena kasih free...hehehehehhee. Betul adik ckp, di luar tu pun kadang2 ok, kadang2 indak ok.... mcm ari minggu tu kan mentang2 ada YB dtg, wah siap buka pintu kasih payung lagi, padahal drng parking dkat teksi tu, yg kakak ni turun dpan2 drng kasih limpas jak bah... sampai husband kakak ckp, 'ketara bah double standard'...tapi indak apa indak sudah kakak pegi sana tu.

Le Meredian pulak.... wow... punya banyak food corner dia. Dari Indian, Chinese, Pizza pun ada, ikan,udang, ketam bakar pun ada. Asam bambangan pun ada, hishhhh semua ada la...... berbaloi betul dik, walaupun RM80 utk adult. Dia punya dessert lagi.... dari ABC, eskrim...ala banyak betul bah dik. Indak terkira la.....slmt mencuba

p/s : amcm dik, kakak ada bakat kan 'promote'. Jadi kalau adik mau jual apa2 kestau jak, nnt kakak tlg 'promote', hehehehhehe

PADAN muka!!! Saya paling benci hotel2 or restaurant2, kedai2...apa2lah yg double standard...

suka tingu luaran... tengok pocket bah!!! kalau kena ngan my hubby aku tu...siappppp tu pekerja sampai manager kena panggil....

Tapi kalau dapat layanan hebat... nah bersiap2 lah poket kamu...sebab hubby saya bagi 'tip' bukan alang2...hahahahah...

aik... mcm marah kau pula puan saiman... aku pun terikut panas bahhh.... ada kaitan darah kali kita ni ah...

Hi Puan Saiman, wayyyy to go! Don't give chance, just walk out.
This incident the manager is to be blamed for employing rude staff....
And they deserve to lose customers.

I too had two such poor service...and I was a big spender very often entertaining business clients and every dinner not less than couple of thousand dollars.
One day I was asked to move to another table.
Reason? Some VIP coming.

Well they lost not only my regular business, but my clients too.....10 of them too, all vowing never to step foot inside that hotel again. And all big time too.

Its good you mention this....they deserve the publicity.

ya bah betul tu. Kadang2kan hairan jugak, drng layan kita lain, yg berpangkat lain. Mcm la kita tidak bayar kan. Mentang2 la kita pakai baju buruk2 kan, itu yg drng sangka kita ni bawa 20 sen saja.

Nah.... sama2 sudah kita 'panas' kan. Tapi indak apa my fren, nnt ko plg KK, kita pg restoren Kak Nong, makan ABC special ah....hehehehehe

It's true bah kan Uncle. The staff so rude and if there are no more seat, why he asked us to shift at the first place kan.

Because of the VVIP are coming, so we are the one yang kena suruh pindah kan. Sometimes, I also don't understand this situation. We are the one who pay our own food, and its not cheap. And not the VVIP paid for us kan.

As a 5 stars hotel., they should not do like that. We are customer, either we are VVIP or not, service mestilah sama kan.
